Transparent On-Chain Sweepstakes · Powered by Chainlink VRF

Enter for $1. Win the Prize. Give Others a Shot.

Velonosis is a transparent, on-chain sweepstakes built on Base. Buy a $1 Mark, get entered into a prize pool, and let Chainlink's verifiable randomness decide the winner — no house edge, no hidden hand. Winners who choose to sponsor others into the next round earn 50% of any prize their picks win.

How It Works

Four simple steps. From your first $1 to a self-amplifying network.

1

Buy a Mark for $1 USDC

Each Mark costs exactly $1 USDC and gives you one entry into a prize pool. No hidden fees, no gas surprises on Base.

2

Get entered into a prize pool

When the pool reaches capacity, Chainlink VRF selects a single winner at random. The outcome is cryptographically verifiable — no one can manipulate it.

3

Win the draw — answer the skill question

Winners must solve a short math question on-chain to claim their prize. This satisfies legal skill-testing requirements and proves the win was earned.

4

Give Others a Shot — and earn if they win

Use part of your prize to buy entries for other wallets. If anyone you sponsored wins a future draw, the protocol sends 50% of their prize directly to you — no claims, no middlemen.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before your first Mark.

What is a Mark?
A Mark is an ERC-1155 NFT collectible you receive when you purchase a pool entry for $1 USDC. It acts as your proof of participation and lives in your wallet permanently.
How is the winner chosen?
When a pool fills, Chainlink VRF provides a cryptographically verifiable random number on-chain. No one — not Velonosis, not the pool operator — can influence the result. The proof is permanently visible on Basescan.
What happens if the pool doesn't fill?
If a pool times out before reaching capacity, participants receive a full refund through the emergency refund path in Pool.sol. Your $1 USDC is returned to your wallet.
Can I lose my $1?
Yes — this is a sweepstakes, not a savings product. You either win the pool or forfeit your $1 entry fee. If the pool fails to complete due to a technical issue, the refund mechanism in Pool.sol returns your USDC automatically. There is no additional risk beyond the $1 you spent.
What is the skill question?
After being selected as the winner, you must solve a math equation on-chain within 10 minutes. This is a Canadian legal requirement for sweepstakes. The equation is generated at the time of selection and is unique to each draw. The answer is submitted as a transaction — there is nothing tricky about it.

Ready to take your shot?

One Mark. One dollar. A fair shot at the prize pool — and the option to bring someone else along for the ride.
